Lovely Dry Bums

January 5, 2009 by kiyokomall

WBS (Wet Bottom Syndrome) is a pain.  Korean designer Sun Woo Park has come up with The Rolling Bench, so you can have a lovely dry bottom.

If you flip your pillow over to get to the cold side, you’ll understand this concept entirely.  When the rain’s been falling and you’re facing the elements whilst waiting for your bus, where can you sit without getting WBS? Simply roll the bench over to the other side and enjoy the dry side of life!

Very smart concept.  But Sung Woo Park has obviously not experienced the intermittent rain of Great Britain.  With the rain stopping and starting and stopping and starting, it wouldn’t matter how much you rolled the bench, you wouldn’t find the dry side anytime soon…

Unless the bench was quick-drying?  Now that would be an idea worth building on.

The Geekiest Mouse In The World

January 5, 2009 by kiyokomall

It would be a minor insult to call World Of Warcraft ”popular”.  With a worshipping of 11 million users, “popular” doesn’t really justify the enormity of it.  Personally, I would probably go as far as saying it was an entirely new nationality.

steelseries-wow-mouseSo with enough users to to populate Australia, it’s about time that there were some exclusive rights (abit like being a member of the country club).  This mouse has function overload, with 15 buttons to click away at. Whilst it may flabbergast an ordinary gamer, the functions will allow a serious World of Warcraft maestro to do most of their brutal killing with one hand.

So if you’re a true WOW gamer (if you haven’t left your desk or had a real conversation since April) then line up and pre-order this mouse now!  At £54.99, it may seem like a prestigious luxury, but it won’t be long before you realise that this mouse is just another essential item.

“More Green Tea, Bob?”

January 5, 2009 by kiyokomall

Green tea has been enjoyed by the Chinese for centuries.  But since the likes of Britney Spears, Gwyneth Paltrow and many other celebs seizing this trend, the western cultures have commercialised it into something rather sexy and fashionable.  It has now become the preferred drink for supermodels and movie stars.  And naturally, the public follow suit.

Something that old grannies in Beijing have been drinking for generations is now young, hip and totally Hollywood!

Most recently, the Mallplace office has gone green tea mad! With Twinings Green Tea being consumed like butter pecan fudge, you’d think we were an office full of trend-chasing, gossip-craving, health-conscious women.  With more guys than dolls here, I think it’s safe to say that the transition from chic-cool to man-cool is now complete.

So men, it is now OK to drink green tea without feeling the need to defend your sexuality.  Green tea is no longer camp.

But that’s not all.  Not only does green tea have a bewitchingly oriental aroma, and a refreshingly clear after taste, it also has weight loss properties and incredible health benefits.

This widely appreciated drink can help in preventing cancer and heart disease. Green tea is perhaps best known for its high levels of anti-oxidants.  This is especially of use to those with active lifestyles as anti-oxidants help reduce the level of damage caused by free radicals.  So in other words, ladies and gents, we can all prevent cell and tissue damage whilst sipping on our favourite and delicious beverage.

Green tea not only cleanses our insides, it can cleanse our outer bodies too.  This purifying potion of goodness is the key to bodily beautification.  So how can green tea make us more beautiful?

Green tea comes in many forms and Jasmine tea is said to increase your metabolism and burn calories as you drink.  Oolong tea is a strong strain of green tea that is almost considered a black tea.  It lacks the rosy, sweet aroma of Jasmine tea but is believed to have even stronger calorie burning properties than other green teas.  In addition to the wonders it does for our figures, green tea is also a bounty to our skin, known to decrease the presence of acne.

Green tea drinkers drink between 3 and 10 cups per day.  We all care about our health and the way we look, so get brewing ASAP!

Men and women alike can enjoy the most fashionable drink around whilst improving our bodies from the inside out.  If your office hasn’t got the green tea bug yet, then you’re probably not working in a very trendy place.  Because it’s so now darling!
